Lam

Lam is like ni in Italian.
It is neither yes nor no.
Perhaps that is why I understand you.

Noor ayuni, your heart is as great as the struggle of your people.
Hayati, your patience touched my trembling soul and soothed it.
Karam, this wasn’t enough to bridge the conflict around us.

Lam is like silence.
It has its own weight and meaning.
Shokran, uztaz. You opened a window for me,
Even with your lam.

Me ofreciste tu campera

Me ofreciste tu campera
caundo tenia frio
